New Braunfels Front Yard Gets Pavers Walkways and Fresh Landscaping

This New Braunfels yard had good bones - mature trees, decent space, decent fence - but no real structure to it. Just patchy ground cover, bare dirt along the fence line, and no clear path through the yard. It was the kind of space that gets ignored because there's nothing inviting about it. That's exactly the problem we set out to fix.

We started with a full landscape design plan before a single paver hit the ground. The goal was to create defined zones and walkable paths that actually make sense for how the homeowner uses the space. That meant a paver patio as the main gathering area, connected to walkways that guide you through the yard without stepping through dirt or dead grass.

For the walkways, we used two different treatments depending on where you're walking. One path runs pavers set into a white gravel bed - clean, low-maintenance, and sharp-looking against the black mulch borders. The other uses larger pavers laid in a stepping-stone style through a gravel channel. Both are held in place with clean metal edging that keeps everything exactly where it belongs. No creep, no mess over time.

The black mulch was the finishing touch that tied it all together. It gives the beds a rich, defined look and helps suppress weeds so the homeowner isn't out there pulling every other week. When you add up the paver patio, the dual walkway systems, the metal edging, and the fresh mulch - this yard went from something you walk past to something you actually want to spend time in.
